Seven Departments Jointly Issue "Implementation Plan for Promoting the Collaborative Transformation and Development of Digitalization and Greening (2026-2030)"

Recently, the Cyberspace Administration of China, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the Ministry of Commerce jointly issued the "Implementation Plan for Promoting Coordinated Transformation Toward Digitalization and Greenization (2026-2030)." The plan sets a target: by 2030, the low-cost, high-efficiency advantages of artificial intelligence will be more pronounced, deeply empowering green and low-carbon technology innovation and industrial development. Energy efficiency in emerging areas such as computing infrastructure and 5G base stations will significantly improve, while digitalization and greenization will advance substantially in key sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, trade, consumption, and urban operations.
